It is a well-known fact that the Coronavirus annoys everyone of us day by day. But it would hardly be an understatement to say that many people are not really aware of the danger. For instance, while going shopping, you no longer pay attention to the distance, you no longer regularly disinfect your hands, and so on.
But before I express my opinion here on this theme, I want to make one thing clear: I DON’T want to attack or offend anyone, accuse anyone or upset anyone personally. I also include myself in my criticism, thus also appealing to MY OWN behavior.
So if anybody feels attacked by my introduction, you don’t have to read on, I wouldn’t take that personally at all! It is okay to be of a different opinion, and that is also good.
In contrast to the “usual appeals” to wear a mask, wash your hands and keep distance, I like to present a different point of view to you, which is often not even considered.
I don’t want to claim that the “usual appeals” are nonsense or something. On the contrary, this is the basis and the one and only, that you should pay attention to.
So, a part of my family is infected with the Coronavirus, as much as six persons at once. Now imagine that only, just only your parents were infected.
Who has to take care of the house? – That’s right, you. Who has to make the food? – Right, you.
And who has to take care of little sisters / brothers, maybe go shopping and walk the dog? – That’s almost right, you.
Of course you will certainly get support from neighbors or grandma and grandpa, but most of the time you have bear up.
And besides you have to study for exams, do homework, and probably everything from home – because of quarantine.
To sum up the situation: It just sucks.
If you ever think about it, you’d probably suffer too. Not necessarily from the actual infection, but from the consequences it has.
This “small” example will give you a good idea of the realization of the situation.
For this reason I ask you too #keepdistance
#wearamask
#stopinfections
#keepcareofyou
#keepcareofothers
You protect others, but especially your personal well-being.
